About the Eat Local Challenge:
The Eat Local Resource Fair will help visitors participate in the annual Milwaukee Eat Local Challenge, September 1 –15.
For two weeks, folks of all ages are encouraged to eat locally as often as they can to gain a better understanding of their relationship to food, from farm to fork. It’s all about setting aside a special time for mindful eating
The Challenge is about taking time each year to reflect on what we choose to eat and our impact on the world around us. When we eat with intention, we can choose foods that are good for the health of our bodies, communities and the earth. Even small changes made over a period of time can have quite a measurable impact.
