Learn about using herbs in cocktails and other drinks. Venice will teach us how herbs can add depth to a variety of drinks. You will have the opportunity to make your own drinks. Our Word Our Food, Mo Pa Nou Manje Pa Nou Join Slow Food WiSE and Nicxon Digacin for a hands on Haitian cooking class. We'll learn to cook Haitian bread soup, pikliz, and Haitian spaghetti. While we're cooking we'll learn about rural Haiti and efforts of farmers to make farming more sustainable through cooperative efforts. Event proceeds go to hurricane relief efforts in Haiti.

Scott will teach us how to make small batches of handcrafted cold pressed lye based soap scented with essential oils. Please bring a wax lined container in which to cure your soap (ex.
