UW-Extension Family Living Educators from Milwaukee and Waukesha County are offering 2 classes on food preservation in August at the Milwaukee County UW-Extension office (and you can get here from there – but you might need some directions!). While they are in season, learn to transform those crunchy little gherkins into great tasting, CRUNCHY, sweet bread & butters or old-fashioned sour dills using fermentation and vinegar infusions. Students will learn how to safely can their pickles with easy to understand instructions that they can apply at home. This is a hands-on class.
