Slow Food USA is an organization of people who are committed to improving food and farming for everyone. We believe everyone deserves food that is good for the grower, good for the planet, and good for us. Our network of 200,000 people connects through 225 local chapters and a variety of events, workshops, local projects, and national campaigns.
The Slow Food Wisconsin Southeast chapter plans events and programs for our local community - from farm tours, school programs, workshops, dinners, and tastings. As a member, you will be invited to plan and participate in these initiatives.

What Do My Membership Dues Support?
Slow Food is built on the idea that food brings us together, and connects us to each other and the land. When we act together locally, we have the potential to change our communities; and when our communities act together, we have the potential to change the world. Slow Food USA works to connect people, inspire them, give them opportunities to do service, and then aggregate their actions to improve food and farming nation-wide.
The Foundation for Biodiversity receives a portion to further organize and fund projects that defend our world's heritage of agricultural biodiversity and gastronomic traditions. For more information on the Foundation for Biodiversity, please visit http://www.slowfoodfoundation.com.
The core of Slow Food USA are the local volunteer leaders who bring people together and help improve the food in their communities. Slow Food USA’s national staff serves the needs of leaders and members, builds our grassroots base, and organizes national campaigns. Slow Food USA is the U.S. branch of the global Slow Food movement, which has over 100,000 members in more than 100 countries around the world.
The organization’s priorities in 2011 are to reach more people than ever before, to expand the projects of local leaders, and to mobilize a campaign to improve the Food & Farm Bill.
Your yearly membership is important to keeping Slow Food alive.
